My favorite superhero is definitely Batman.  He is my favorite because he does not actually possess any powers.  He transformed his mind and body to change himself from the simple Gotham City resident, Bruce Wayne, to the Batman that we all know and love.

I am slightly biased, however, when it comes to choosing a favorite superhero.  I was never much into comics or even action/adventure movies.  When I heard that Christian Bale was Batman in the new Christopher Nolan movie Batman Begins, I quickly became interested.  I have always loved him, originally from his days in The Newsies.  Yes, I know what you are thinking.  And yes, I said The Newsies.  It was a childhood favorite, what can I say?
